Excellent Chinese food. Service was good with little waiting time between ordering and serving. Food quity was excellent.

    • Varied menu, tasty but expensive.

We visited midweek at night and although its a little hard to find as its in a small quiet shopping plaza, it is worth the effort. The menu is extensive and includes a number of specials such as Peking duck that needs to be booked in advance. The decor is somewhat tired but the food was tasty although quite expensive. The owners were attentive.

I booked a table for 4 for 6.45 we ended calling and going earlier..The restaurant looked very inviting with white table cloths and red serviette place in the glasses.. The Thai Fish cakes were ordered for entree which was very enjoyable. We ordered 2 Mongolian Lamb one Lemon Chicken and the Honey Beef, Boiled Rice and a Special Fried Rice with Steamed Vegetables.. Beautiful meal that came out quickly. The meal was absolutely delicious. The service, particularly from the younger staff members was A1. The owner was delightful.

    • Food is decent, but average. Service suffers greatly!

This is not a bad place to eat. At least I don't think it is. This was my first visit to this eatery. The restaurant is tucked away in a small plaza and has a pleasant enough interior that affords a view of some of the bushland on the adjacent street. The food when served was hot and seemingly fresh and the taste was fairly good. Unfortunately, my main reasons for a 3-star rating were that like most restaurants and retail businesses in Sydney, customer/patron service is non-existent. We ordered two simple mains, combination Chow Mein. No entrees, no drinks and when we arrived the place was moderately busy as there were two large groups. So we surmised that since the first group was already in-house as we came in and the others came in about the same time but ordered before us, that we might have to wait a bit longer. Longer.....longer.....longer...waiting...waiting...waiting. The entire first and second group had been served and we had no food. A couple that came in AFTER us was served their food and were nearly done by the time we were served our food! How does THAT work??!! When it FINALLY arrived, I thought an apology or explanation might have been in order....(nothing) We had to actually stare down our waitress from across the room, before she actually acknowledged us. A look of seemingly panic fell across her, and she dashed back into the kitchen, I assume, to speak to the cook about our meals. These circumstances do not inspire me to return to this place, especially knowing you there are so many other nicer places in the mountains I could go to get really extraordinary food and better service.
