    • Terrible food in a wonderful location

The main room of the restaurant is located on the second floor inside the Orsay museum. The room has grandiose chandeliers and gold ornaments. Unfortunately, the food was terrible.

Go early, as huge queues form ( I'm not sure if you can book). I went with a disabled French friend, who when she flashed her disablement card at the maitre d'hotel took us straight in to dine, thus jumping the queue of disgruntled tourists. The food was traditional French, high quality, not too expensive. Excellent service in a beautiful dining room.

We treated ourselves and ate lunch here. Its a beautiful restaurant if a little pricey for our Aussie dollars. The best thing about the visit was a room and furniture. The service was excellent and we didn't have any problems with the language. Great for a special occasion on a long overseas trip.

My wife and I had lunch here today while visiting the museum. We each had a glass of rose, then shared a sandwich, then each had a coffee. The service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. The price was reasonable and the room was grand and ornate. I would happily recommend this place to anyone going to the Musee d'Orsay.

Not to many times you can find excellent service and food at a museum. We really enjoyed the connivence of taking a break and having lunch there. The restaurant is airy and beautiful. Especially the chairs. Comfortable and colorful. The gazpacho soup was excellent. My wife and I had the sea bass and my son had the salmon Presentation and tase was excellent. Pricing was reasonable also. Great place to relax and regroup for next museum tour..
