We took the Hop On Hop Off Old Town Trolley tours San Diego on Aug 22. Our guides were Patricia and Tony on different locations. Both of them were very professional, friendly, informative, patient, etc. Both our guides made the tour very interesting and enjoyable. And both of them clearly showed they love their job and enjoy the Company. Both guides took the time to call for more buses because there were some passengers left behind. They stopped at all bus stops to inform the passengers at the bus stops that another bus has been dispatched. Very impressive. We'll surely talk about this experience for a long time. Thanks to all.

Seal Tour Adventure

My husband and I decided to take the Seal Tour after enjoying the Duck Tour (same type of amphibious vehicle) in Boston. This tour was nice but did not compare to Boston. The captain and tour guide were friendly and quite humorous. I did have a little trouble hearing when the vehicle was on the road in the city traffic. There was not much pointed out on the route to the ocean ramp other than the same sights we saw when driving in on the main street. I was disappointed that we did not learn more about the city or hear any historic facts or see any more sights than we had easily seen on our own. The Seal boat enters on a bay-side ramp and you are immediately taken to see some sea lions and shore birds lying on a series of floating docks. It was cool but we had already seen plenty of the same on the shores in La Jolla. We spent the majority of the tour in the water. If it had not been for a few submarines that were docked and a huge destroyer that came into the bay - the tour would have been a little too long and a little too boring. It was an enjoyable tour, just nothing too exciting. I did expect a little more.

Definitely the way to see San Diego

This was an excellent tour that allowed us to see several great locations without having to worry about traffic or parking. We jumped on at the Coronado stop and used it all day to visit the USS Midway, Seaport Village and Old Town.

The good part is you get to hop on and off as you please. You get to see a good part of the city without having to drive and find places to park. I'm just not sure it is worth $40.

Great and cheap way to see the sights

We just got off the cruise ship and wanted a great way to see the sites. Our tour guide was full of information on the city. Made some notes of what to check out when we visit another time.
