    • What a fantastic and beautiful place to stay but the duo that is the hosts is what truly makes this place special.

What lovely hosts, safe to say that both Geryle and Andi bent over backwards to make us feel welcome. Such a lovely pair, beautiful house, beautiful scenery on a beautiful island. The breakfast was outstanding with some of finest sourced meats, freshed eggs and first class service I've ever experienced. To top it all off they have two of the nicest dogs on the island. We will deffo recommend this place to anyone venturing out and will deffo be back on our next visit to Gigha. Best regards, Conor and wionna :)

    • Wonderful find on Gigha.

We were so lucky to find this secluded home owned by a very kind and welcoming couple. Breathtaking views over Islay and Jura and only a short distance to the Gigha hotel for a very nice meal. Delicious ,plentiful breakfast served in the couples large modern kitchen. Would certainly recommend to visitors to Gigha.

    • Amazing hospitality!

We stayed at springbank with our 2 children and had the most amazing time. The owners could not do enough for us and made us feel so welcome in their home. I would not normally expect to use the lounge facilities when staying at a bed and breakfast however we were encouraged to make ourselves comfortable and to ask if there was anything we needed. Geryl and Andi happily let our children watch t.v in their personal front room. The guest rooms are decorated to a high standard and cleanliness was brilliant. Breakfast was fantastic with fresh local produce. Fantastic views and a lovely warm homely feel. We will definately be returning. Thank you for making our trip special. Well done on your new venture, keep up the fantastic work.

Stayed for one night at Springbank & one night was enough. Please note previous reviews refer to the previous owners.....current owners took over fairly recently. Rooms very comfortable with spacious ensuite. ...no wee toiletries. A chair in the room to enjoy a cup of tea after a long journey would've been a nice touch as plenty of space. Being ejected from the lounge was less than welcoming ....was told lounge was "out of bounds for guests"....if that's the case then perhaps a polite sign could be the answer! Breakfast was adequate accompanied by good coffee.

    • Beautiful house on a beautiful island

Dave and Jenny and Poppy the dog - Ashbourne, Derbyshire: We stayed at Springbank for just one night recently. We, including the dog, were made very welcome indeed by Geryl and Andi and their two gorgeous dogs, and we immediately felt relaxed and at home. Both Andi and Geryl (and Daisy, although Lucy is a little aloof!) were lovely people, and happy to advise on what to do and where to go if required. The delightfully decorated en suite bedroom was spotless and comfortable, the shower hot and strong, and we had a good view across the sea to Islay and Jura - and there was real coffee and a cafetiere on the tray! We didn't bother to lock any doors as all is safe on Gigha. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and a splendid full Scottish. I would heartily recommend Springbank to anyone visiting this charming island. September 2018.
